Departures cluster around Flic en Flac and Le Morne on the west coast, Trou d'Eau Douce on the east, and Pointe d'Esny in the south-east. Below: operators that explicitly offer a private charter on their own site or page, not just a shared boat trip, each with a sourced contact.

Is this a bareboat rental, or does it come with a skipper?
Every operator listed here is a skippered charter — you rent the boat and its crew for your group, not a bareboat you pilot yourself. "Private" means the whole boat is yours for the trip, not shared with other passengers.
How is this different from a regular boat trip?
A standard boat trip often puts you on a shared boat with other travelers on a fixed itinerary. The operators below have a sourced "private" option — the boat and route are yours, though some also offer a cheaper shared option (see the "Shared" pill where it appears).
How do I book?
Contact the operator directly using the sourced phone, WhatsApp, email or website on its card — DivingMauritius does not take bookings.
Which departure point should I pick?
DivingMauritius lists verified private-charter operators in 3 regions — Flic en Flac and Le Morne on the west coast, Trou d'Eau Douce on the east, Pointe d'Esny in the south-east. Pick the one closest to where you're staying.
What can I do on a private charter?
It depends on the operator — most combine it with snorkeling stops, a sunset sail, dolphin watching or a trip to an island, and can tailor the route to your group. Check each operator's own site or page for what's included.
